Voltaire once wrote, “If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him.” Leaving aside whether we actually did, can the same be said of religion?

God is just medium to guide. its not necessary which religion we follow people are blind and atleast they are together in form of same religion. We are thankful to GOD that he made us human who can think about his creator and know whats good or bad.

Thank you for your interesting response! It raises the question: If conforming to an organized religion is not necessary for humans to think about our origins and the moral concepts of good and bad, then why should a supernatural being, a god, be necessary? And other than inherited teachings, what rational reason is there to believe one exists?
